This is a HD AXLE 26" WHEEL made for 110mm to 135mm mm rear frame dropout single speed bikes.

NOTE: To use in bikes with a wider dropout the spokes must be realigned by a professional bike mechanic to position the wheel rim into the frame center line.

#2. Tell us if you want us to install the drive chain sprocket hub permanently or sent loose for your installation.
#3. You must tell us what sprocket size you want included with your wheel.
#4. Tell us what bike frame, tire size and brake type you will be using.
NOTE: We will not ship without having the above 4 bits of information.

We include a 6-hole sprocket of your choice if available. We will install it with 10.9 gr M6 bolts but we will not tighten the 6 bolts nor apply any Loctite thread lock as we do not know if your frame or tire size will require the sprocket teeth to be dished outward or inward. Therefore, it will be your responsibility to install the drive sprocket with 242 Blue Permatex thread lock found at your local hardware store.

Choose one of these. 36T, 44T, 48T, 50T or 56T. If we are out of stock on any sprocket we will call you for an alternate choice. Note: 36T in very short supply.

If using a disc brake, your rotor must be larger or smaller in diameter then the chain sprocket to gain approx. 21mm caliper clearance.

Heads up: Our HD AXLE 6-hole sprockets are not the same as those sprockets made for disc brake 6-hole 5m patterns.

WHEELS are shipped via UPS so cannot be delivered to a USPS PO Box #.

An all-steel HD AXLE solid hub using M6 bolts means it is much stronger versus those made of cast aluminum that use tiny M5 screws in a disc brake pattern. ( see last Picture )

This Single Speed wheel is Not suitable for a Multi Speed bike frame. Right side pedal chain Freewheel sprocket is not included. ( See our multi-speed wheel add.)

This wheel can be used with all 2 stroke mid-frame engines as well as with 4-stroke engines as long as the 4-stroke engine's transmission has a freewheel such as is found in our 4G and 5G T belt drive transmissions.

NOTE: This wheel is the same as the multi-speed HD Axle wheel except the rim is spaced more inward to be in the center of a 110mm to 135mm drop out.

HD Axle Wheels can work with Disc Brakes and / or can also be used with a Caliper Vee-Brakes due to having a CNC cut flat rim surface. 2 ways! Brakes not included.

NOTE: #1 HD axle wheels with a Freewheel Sprocket Flanged Hub are found in the 4 cycle engine section.

NOTE: The Sprocket Flanged Hub has left hand CCW 36-1 threads, so the sprocket hub does not unscrew when under engine pulling power.
