Sad News; Due to the poor state of affairs with China and high USA Tarrifs, we we will not be supplying any more Avenger 85cc engine kits after our present stock is gone. This also applies to SkyHwak 66cc engines as well. In addition we believe China Doll two stroke engine power has now exceeded safe limits for ordinary bicycle use thus causing too many deaths and injuries nationwide. China has banned their use and therefore we feel USA will soon do likewise. However, we will continue to have service parts available for our customers as long as current supply last.

Our Premium Stage III kit has 3 main features that are completely different from Standard Avenger 85cc engines sold by our competitors.

#1. Electric drill starting capability with included special OCDT counter-clockwise cranking tool. $39.95 value

#2. Special Gru-Bee 360 CNC Billet head with a copper 0.2mm head gasket.

#3. Oval YD Mfg. ID plate on left side of the engine. We believe everybody should identify the manufacture of the engines they are selling. Anything less is called generic, No ID!

#4. We include for field installation a high-performance longer copper plated 12 needle bearing for the 12mm wrist pin. FYI: Avengers come standard with a black non plated short 10 roller 12mm wrist pin needle bearing.

Includes BoFang Carburetor, however this is not the best choice for this engine. Suggest a VM18 Mukini carb instead.
Includes YD riveted 2-piece muffler.
After a year of observation and testing we have finally approved the Avenger 85 engine that the YuanDong factory in China has been making for the past year.

Regardless as to what some people may say YuanDong is the exclusive CHINESE manufacture of the Avenger 85 engine. The same factory that has always made our SkyHawk line of 2 stroke engines for over 21 years.

Look for the YD logo on the crankcase to ensure authenticity. Other Chinese factories will soon learn to copy the YD Avenger 85 design so beware of fakes.

What does Premium mean? > A CNC Billet special designed 6061 HEAD is included with this kit. Hence called "Premium". A CNC head gives way better cooling than a stock light weight cast aluminum head.

The Avenger 85 52x40 is a true 85cc displacement HIGH PERFORMANCE 50 MPH Plus engine with a 52mm bore and 40mm stroke. Yes, this engine competes directly with the Olyin Avenger 85, Menace 85 and the Phantom 85 sold by our friendly and some unfriendly competitors.

The engine retains the stock 25-degree timing.

2.5L gas tank instead of the little 2 Liter tank sold by others.
2-piece YuanDong riveted muffler. However, some customers throw it away and buy a plenum chamber exhaust pipe.
The balance of the installation parts including Throttle, 415 chain, Clutch lever, Chain guard, 44T sprocket and idler are the same as what all others are selling.

My Wife's retired brother inspects at the factory what you expect and yes that's not 100% perfect but it's a lot better than no inspection at all when you consider piece worker's pay is the same for making defects as it is for making zero defects.

We insist the YuanDong factory attached an engine manufacture's ID plate on all of our 2 stroke engines. This helps insure they put extra quality in their product knowing it can be traced back to them. Those who import generic no Mfg. ID engine kits do not enjoy this benefit.
